Halls Gulch Dispersed is an undeveloped camping area located in the Payette National Forest in Idaho County. As a dispersed camping site, it provides primitive camping opportunities without formal parking areas, designated campsites, or developed amenities. Visitors are permitted to camp almost anywhere in this area unless specifically posted otherwise, following standard Forest Service dispersed camping guidelines. The site offers a natural forest experience for self-sufficient campers who prefer solitude and minimal infrastructure. Campers must be prepared to pack out all trash and practice Leave No Trace principles. The area is accessible to those seeking a more remote camping experience away from developed campgrounds.
Directions
Halls Gulch is located approximately 2 miles southwest of Warren, Idaho. Access is via Steamboat Creek Road (Forest Road 50370), then onto the Arlise Gulch unauthorized road (503701000) leading to the Lucky Ben Mine.
