The campground is open and accepting reservations. The lake is at full drawdown for dam rehabilitation expected to be completed in 2027, so swimming, boating, and fishing are unavailable. Guilford Lake State Park Campground sits on the shores of 396-acre Guilford Lake in Columbiana County, Ohio. The campground features 37 electric sites, each equipped with a parking pad, picnic table, and fire ring. A central showerhouse provides modern restroom facilities, and a dump station serves RV campers. The seasonal camp office stocks firewood, ice, concessions, and basic camping supplies. The lake offers a swim beach, boat launch, and fishing opportunities for bass, bluegill, catfish, and crappie. Boating is restricted to 10 horsepower motors, making it ideal for kayaks, canoes, and small fishing boats. A playground provides entertainment for younger campers. Note that the lake is currently at full drawdown as part of a multi-year dam rehabilitation project expected to conclude in 2027. During this period, water-based activities including swimming and boating are unavailable, though the campground remains operational for those seeking a peaceful camping experience in Ohio's rolling countryside.
