About

Beaver Creek Group Campground sits within Ohio's 2,700-acre Beaver Creek State Park in Columbiana County, positioned high above Little Beaver Creek in the forested foothills of the Appalachian Plateau. The two group sites on Sprucevale Road are designed for organized groups of up to 125 people and are strictly tent camping only with no RV access. Amenities are intentionally rustic: each site has grills and picnic tables, but there is no potable water, electric hookups, or showers on site. Vault toilets serve the area. The surrounding park offers exceptional opportunities for hiking, including segments of the North Country Trail, plus 23 miles of bridle trails. History enthusiasts can explore Beaver Creek Pioneer Village with its working Gaston's Mill grist mill, covered bridge, and remnants of the Sandy and Beaver Canal. The Wildlife Education Center features over 300 mounted specimens and live animals. Reservations are required and can be made up to six months in advance through reserveohio.com or by calling (866) 644-6727. The campground operates year-round, though the off-peak season runs from November 1 through May 1. Pets are not permitted at the group sites.

Directions

From East Liverpool, take State Route 7 south approximately 4 miles to Echo Dell Road. Turn right and continue to the park entrance. The group campground is located on Sprucevale Road in the southwest portion of the park.
