About

Beaver Creek Campground sits scenically in one of Ohio's most beautiful state parks, perched high above Little Beaver Creek, a designated state and national wild and scenic river. The campground is surrounded by 2,722 acres of forest wilderness in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, offering large, well-shaded sites for both RVs and tent campers. The park's rich history is evident throughout, with remnants of the historic Sandy and Beaver Canal including restored Gaston's Mill, pioneer village, and abandoned canal locks to explore. The area also has connections to infamous bank robber Pretty Boy Floyd. Both family camping and equestrian camping options are available, with the family campground offering approximately 50-55 sites. Campers should note that shower facilities are not available at this campground, though a sun shower stall is provided for those who bring their own equipment. Water access is limited to a faucet for filling small containers up to five gallons. The campground includes standard amenities like picnic tables, fire rings, and a dump station, making it ideal for experienced campers seeking a more rustic experience in a scenic, historic setting.
