About

Grubb Hollow Campground sits on the lower Current River within Ozark National Scenic Riverways, positioned directly across the water from Kelley Bluff. This small backcountry campground offers 5 primitive sites suited for tent camping and smaller RVs willing to navigate gravel roads. The campground provides basic backcountry amenities: vault toilet restrooms, picnic tables at each site, fire rings, and lantern posts. No potable water is available, so campers must bring their own supply. The riverside location allows easy access to swimming, floating, fishing, and paddling on the spring-fed Current River. Access to Grubb Hollow requires approximately 2.5 miles of gravel road driving from State Highway F. The campground is part of the Lower Current District Backcountry Campsites and requires reservations through Recreation.gov. Payment is handled via the Recreation.gov Scan & Pay mobile app, which campers should download and configure before arriving due to limited cell service in the area.
