About
Grass Point State Park occupies a scenic point of land projecting into the American Channel of the St. Lawrence River, one of the premier fishing destinations in the northeastern United States. The 75-site campground caters to both tent campers and RVers, with approximately half the sites positioned directly on the waterfront. Twenty sites offer 20-amp electric service, and a dump station is available for RV waste disposal. The park's waterfront amenities are the main draw: a sandy swimming beach, full-service marina with boat launch ramps, dockage, and boat rentals make this an ideal base for exploring the Thousand Islands. Anglers target bass, pike, walleye, and muskie in the St. Lawrence's renowned waters. The campground includes modern shower facilities, restrooms, picnic areas with grills, a playground, and rentable pavilions for group gatherings. A single cottage is available for weekly rental during peak and shoulder seasons. The campground operates from mid-May through mid-September, with reservations available up to 9 months in advance through ReserveAmerica.
