Sites are equipped with fire rings and lantern posts. A vault toilet is available on site. There is no potable water; campers must bring their own or filter/treat water from nearby sources. The campground enforces a 14-day stay limit. Saddle, pack, and draft animals are not permitted at the campsite. Access is via Forest Service Road 764 off Chattooga Ridge Road. The remote setting and free primitive camping appeal to those seeking a quiet, self-sufficient outdoor experience in the South Carolina mountains.
