For the Stehekin River...including Stehekin...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Stehekin River at Stehekin. * WHEN...Until late Monday evening. * IMPACTS...At 20.5 feet, water inundates some properties and overtops the temporary corduroy bridge. Company Creek Road inundated at northern end. Battalion Creek culverts are beginning to be overtopped. Water begins damaging Wood Road. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:30 AM PDT Friday the stage was 20.5 feet. - Bankfull stage is 19.5 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:30 AM PDT Friday was 20.6 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise through the weekend and is expected to crest around 20.8 feet on Sunday. Fox Creek Campground is located along the picturesque Entiat River in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, offering 16 shaded campsites at 2,000 feet elevation. The campground sits 27 miles up the Entiat River Road from Highway 97A, providing a peaceful setting surrounded by forest. The campground accommodates RVs and trailers up to 28 feet in length. Each campsite includes a picnic table and fire pit. Vault toilets and garbage service are provided for camper convenience. Campers should note that no drinking water is available on-site and must bring an adequate supply. The area offers opportunities for picnicking, fishing in the Entiat River, and exploring the surrounding national forest. The campground operates seasonally from mid-May through late October, with sites available for $15 per night plus an $8 additional vehicle fee.

Directions

From Wenatchee, travel north on US-97A for 14.4 miles to Entiat. Just after the bridge turn left onto Entiat River Road and travel north 26.7 miles to Fox Creek Campground on the left. From Chelan, travel south on US-97A for 19.3 miles to Entiat. Just before the bridge turn right onto Entiat River Road and travel north 26.7 miles to Fox Creek Campground on the left.
