Company Creek Road inundated at northern end. Battalion Creek culverts are beginning to be overtopped. Water begins damaging Wood Road. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:30 AM PDT Wednesday the stage was 20.4 feet. - Bankfull stage is 19.5 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise back above flood stage Wednesday evening. It will then fall below flood stage for a brief time Thursday into Friday. Fox Creek Campground sits along the banks of the Entiat River in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, approximately 27 miles up Entiat River Road from Highway 97A. At 2,000 feet elevation, the 16 shaded campsites provide a cool riverside setting for tent camping and small trailers up to 28 feet. The campground offers basic amenities including vault toilets, garbage service, and picnic tables at each site. There is no potable water, so campers must bring their own supply. Sites are $15 per night with an $8 fee for additional vehicles, payable at the self-service pay station. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no advance reservations. Popular activities include fishing in the Entiat River, hiking nearby trails, and wildlife viewing. The campground serves as a base for exploring the upper Entiat Valley, with access to Silver Falls National Recreation Trail and other backcountry destinations further up the road.
Directions
From Wenatchee, travel north on US-97A for 14.4 miles to Entiat. Just after the bridge, turn left onto Entiat River Road (County Road 19) and travel 26.7 miles to Fox Creek Campground on the left. County Road 19 becomes Forest Road 51 at mile 27.
