Light to periodically moderate rain is expected for the lower Stehekin Valley this week along with melting snow as temperatures warm into the 40s and 50s. Flows in rivers will increase quickly and reach critical levels. * WHAT...Flooding caused by rain and snowmelt continues for the lower Stehekin Valley. * WHERE...A portion of North Central Washington, including the following county, Chelan. * WHEN...Until 1100 PM PDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...When the Stehekin River gauge hits 19.3 feet, water breaches the river bank. At 20 feet, water inundates some properties and overtops the temporary corduroy bridge. Company Creek Road begins to flood in places at the northern end and Battalion Creek culverts are beginning to be overtopped. At 20.5 feet, water begins to damage Wood Road. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 924 PM PDT, the Stehekin River is at 19.9 feet. River levels will continue to rise through the week with an expected crest of 22.9 feet on Saturday. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Fox Creek Campground is located along the picturesque Entiat River in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, offering 16 shaded campsites at 2,000 feet elevation. The campground sits 27 miles up the Entiat River Road from Highway 97A, providing a peaceful setting surrounded by forest. The campground accommodates RVs and trailers up to 28 feet in length. Each campsite includes a picnic table and fire pit. Vault toilets and garbage service are provided for camper convenience. Campers should note that no drinking water is available on-site and must bring an adequate supply. The area offers opportunities for picnicking, fishing in the Entiat River, and exploring the surrounding national forest. The campground operates seasonally from mid-May through late October, with sites available for $15 per night plus an $8 additional vehicle fee.
Directions
From Wenatchee, travel north on US-97A for 14.4 miles to Entiat. Just after the bridge turn left onto Entiat River Road and travel north 26.7 miles to Fox Creek Campground on the left. From Chelan, travel south on US-97A for 19.3 miles to Entiat. Just before the bridge turn right onto Entiat River Road and travel north 26.7 miles to Fox Creek Campground on the left.
