About

North Fork Campground sits at 2,500 feet elevation along the Entiat River, approximately 33 miles up Entiat River Road from Highway 97A. This small, remote group campground is positioned near the confluence of the North Fork and main Entiat River, just past Entiat Falls. The site provides basic facilities including vault toilets and hand-pump drinking water, though visitors must bring toilet paper and pack out all garbage. The campground serves as a jumping-off point for backcountry exploration, with the North Fork Entiat Trail providing access into the Glacier Peak Wilderness. The surrounding area showcases the eastern Cascade landscape with its mix of forest and river valley terrain. Maximum trailer length is 25 feet, making this better suited for smaller rigs or tent camping. During winter months (December 1 through March 31), a Washington State Sno-Park Permit is required for access. The remote location 33 miles from the highway means visitors should come prepared with adequate supplies and be aware that services are minimal at this primitive campground.

Directions

From Wenatchee, travel north on US-97A for 14.4 miles to Entiat. Just after the bridge, turn left onto Entiat River Road (County Road 19) and travel north 32.5 miles to North Fork Campground on the left. County Road 19 becomes Forest Road 51 at 27 miles. From Chelan, travel south on US-97A for 19.3 miles to Entiat. Just before the bridge, turn right onto Entiat River Road and travel north 32.5 miles.
