Goat Hill Campground offers a simple camping experience along the scenic Enchanted Circle Byway in northern New Mexico. Located just 4 miles east of Questa on NM 38, this small Forest Service campground provides direct access to the Red River for fishing opportunities. The elevation sits around 8,300 feet in a shaded setting of spruce-fir and aspen. Facilities are basic, consisting of a single vault toilet and picnic tables. There is no potable water, so campers must bring their own supply. The campground operates seasonally, typically from late May through late September. Sites are first-come, first-served at $12 per night for a single site including one vehicle, with additional vehicles charged $6 per night. Senior and Access pass holders pay $6 per night.
