Open

Open for the 2026 fee season, which runs May 12 through September 30. Off-season camping is permitted as road and snow conditions allow, though services are not provided. First-come, first-served with no reservations.

About

Glover Campground sits in the Selway River Corridor of the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests, providing a quiet base for exploring this remote section of central Idaho. The campground is set off the main road and offers vault toilets, picnic areas, and a stock ramp that makes it suitable for visitors with horses or pack animals. Two trails depart from the campground area: Roundtop Trail #705 and Glover Trail #704, offering options for day hikes or extended backcountry trips. The nearby Selway River and its tributaries provide fishing opportunities. Mountain biking is also popular on surrounding forest trails. This is a primitive site with no potable water, so campers must bring an adequate supply. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis at $8 per night during the fee season. Off-season use is allowed but services such as restroom cleaning are not provided, and access may be limited by snow.
