Boyd Creek Campground
Open seasonally as snow allows. Fee season runs through September 30. Off-season camping is permitted but services are limited.
About
Boyd Creek Campground sits along the Selway River in the Selway River Corridor of the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests. This small, primitive campground offers five sites suitable for tents or RVs up to 30 feet, with vault toilets but no potable water. The riverside setting at 1,600 feet elevation provides a peaceful base for exploring this remote corner of Idaho. The campground serves as an excellent launch point for outdoor recreation. Anglers can fish the Selway River for steelhead and trout, while hikers and horseback riders can access the East Boyd Glover Roundtop National Recreation Trail from two nearby trailheads. Mountain biking opportunities are also available in the area. The campground operates seasonally as snow conditions allow, with the fee season running through September 30. Off-season use is permitted, though services such as restroom cleaning are not provided during winter months.
