Bimerick Creek Camp
This is a primitive dispersed camping area with no reservations or formal management. Open year-round, though winter access may be limited by snow and road conditions along Highway 12. No amenities or services available.
About
Bimerick Creek Camp sits at the confluence of Bimerick Creek and the Lochsa River in the heart of Idaho County's rugged backcountry. The site is part of the Lochsa-Highway 12 corridor, a scenic stretch running through the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests that follows the historic Lewis and Clark Trail. As a dispersed camping area, the site offers no developed amenities. Campers should be fully self-sufficient, bringing their own water and packing out all trash. The surrounding area provides access to world-class whitewater on the Lochsa River, fishing opportunities, and trails leading into the adjacent Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness. Dispersed camping in this corridor is limited to 14 days at a time.
