About
Glendalough State Park Camper Cabins provide a unique blend of rustic charm and modern convenience in Minnesota's lake country. Located within a cart-in campground, these 12x16 foot wooden cabins are situated 250 to 1,200 feet from the parking area, with wheeled carts provided for hauling gear. Each cabin features a single sleeping room with wooden bunkbeds and mattresses, tables and benches, and a screened porch. Year-round cabins include heat and electricity, making them suitable for winter camping adventures. The cabins share campground facilities including seasonal restrooms with showers and drinking water, while primitive toilets are available year-round. Each cabin has an outdoor picnic table and fire ring with cooking grate. Indoor cooking is prohibited except for crockpots and coffeepots. Standard cabins accommodate up to six guests, while accessible cabins hold up to five. The 700-acre park is named for its location between two lakes and features a Heritage Fishery on Annie Battle Lake where no motors are allowed. Activities include hiking, biking, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, cross-country skiing, and exploring restored prairie landscapes. The historic Glendalough Lodge, built in 1905, is available for day-use rentals. Reservations can be made up to 120 days in advance through the Minnesota state parks reservation system.
Directions
