About

Glass Bridge Park is a day-use recreation area situated on the shoreline of West Point Lake, which extends 35 miles along the Chattahoochee River on the Alabama-Georgia state line. The park is managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and provides year-round boat launching facilities along with excellent bank fishing access. The primary bookable feature is the Glass Bridge Group Shelter, a non-electric day-use shelter that accommodates up to 18 people. The shelter area includes three picnic tables, grills, and nearby restrooms. Check-in is at 9:00 AM and check-out is at 9:00 PM the same day. This location is unstaffed. Note that Glass Bridge Park does not offer overnight camping. Campers seeking overnight accommodations at West Point Lake should consider other USACE campgrounds in the area such as Amity or Whitetail Ridge.

From LaGrange, turn onto US-29 heading West for approximately 4.5 miles, watch for park sign, turn right onto Glass Bridge Road, drive approximately 3.5 miles to the park.
