About

Glacial Lakes State Park camper cabins provide a comfortable rustic experience in Minnesota's unique glacial landscape where prairie meets hardwood forest. The park offers six camper cabins total: four year-round heated cabins with electricity (Kames, Kettle, Glacial Erratic, and the ADA-accessible Esker cabin) available Thursday through Sunday, and two seasonal cabins (Coneflower and Friends) open April through October. Year-round cabins sleep up to six people, while Esker sleeps five. Each cabin features bunk beds, a screened porch, picnic table, and fire ring outside for cooking. The cabins are situated near 56-acre Mountain Lake, offering easy access to swimming beaches, fishing piers, and boat rentals including kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards. The park features rolling glacial hills, native prairie restoration, and over nine miles of trails for hiking and horseback riding. The unique landscape showcases kettle lakes, eskers, and other glacial formations. A seasonal sanitation building with flush toilets and running water serves the year-round cabin area, while vault toilets are available at other locations.
