About
Graves Creek Campground sits in the remote Quinault Rain Forest of Olympic National Park, offering 30 primitive campsites along the peaceful Graves Creek. This year-round campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis and serves as a popular trailhead for backpackers exploring the East Fork Quinault Trail to Enchanted Valley and other wilderness destinations. The campground provides vault toilets and seasonal food storage lockers, but no potable water is available on-site. Each site includes a picnic table and fire grate. One accessible vault toilet is available, though campsites are not paved and lack picnic table extensions. The remote location and primitive amenities create an authentic backcountry experience for those seeking solitude in the rainforest. Access to Graves Creek requires traveling on Graves Creek Road, which alternates between paved and gravel surfaces. The road is not suitable for RVs or trailers. Visitors can reach the area via either North Shore Road or South Shore Road from Lake Quinault, though road conditions can vary seasonally and repairs may occasionally limit access. Always check current road conditions before your visit, as winter weather and maintenance work can affect accessibility.
