About

Frog Lake Campground is a scenic, somewhat rustic campground located on the north end of 10-acre Frog Lake in Mount Hood National Forest. Situated at 3,800 feet elevation in a heavily forested setting, campers often hear the chorus of frogs at night. The lake is open to fishing, swimming, canoeing, and non-motorized boating, with anglers targeting rainbow trout. The campground features approximately 33 sites suitable for tents and small RVs up to 22 feet. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring with grill. Accessible vault toilets and drinking water from a hand pump are provided. A day-use area with boat ramp access is available nearby. Recreational opportunities abound, with a hiking trail leading east to Frog Lake Buttes and an unimproved forest road open to mountain biking and high-clearance off-road vehicles. The Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail passes just north of the campground off Forest Road 2610.
