Air Quality Alert issued July 21 at 1:30PM PDT by NWS Portland OR
Oregon Department of Environmental Quality has issued an Air Quality Advisory, which is IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM PDT WEDNESDAY. An Air Quality Advisory for Smoke has been issued for Clackamas County. An Air Quality Advisory for Ozone has been issued for the Portland-Metro Area and around Salem. Wildfires burning in the region combined with forecasted conditions will cause air quality to reach unhealthy levels due to smoke and ozone at times through 6 PM Wednesday. Pollutants in smoke can cause burning eyes, runny nose, aggravate heart and lung diseases, and aggravate other serious health problems. Limit outdoor activities and keep children indoors if it is smoky. Please follow medical advice if you have a heart or lung condition. This Order describes acts that are prohibited upon lands, roads and trails within the National Forest System administered by the Forest Service Pacific Northwest Region in regards to alcoholic beverages.

This Order prohibits 1) possessing, storing, or transporting any aquatic invasive animal species AND 2) prohibits possessing, storing, or transporting any aquatic or riparian invasive plant species - on National Forest System lands in the Pacific Northwest Region as specified in the Order.
About
Still Creek Campground lies in the shadows of Mt. Hood, one of the closest campgrounds to the mountain. Located just one mile east of Government Camp at approximately 3,700 feet elevation, it offers 26 single-family sites nestled along the banks of Still Creek. The dense understory of shrubs provides ample privacy between sites, and the creek can be heard throughout the campground. Sites are equipped with picnic tables and campfire rings with grills. Accessible vault toilets and potable drinking water (hand pump) are provided. No hookups are available, and parking surfaces are a mix of dirt, gravel, and paved areas. The 16-foot vehicle length limit makes this campground unsuitable for larger RVs. The surrounding area offers excellent recreation including hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and fly-fishing for trout. The trailhead for Ramona Falls is nearby via Forest Road 1825, a popular 7.1-mile hike. Timberline Lodge, a National Historic Landmark, is within seven miles.
Directions
From Portland, travel east on Highway 26 to Government Camp. Continue 1 mile east of Government Camp. The campground is on the south side of the highway.
