Barlow Creek Campground is a primitive camping destination located along the Historic Barlow Road near Barlow Creek in Oregon's Mount Hood National Forest. Sitting at 3,100 feet elevation, the campground provides a rustic experience for those seeking to explore the area's rich pioneer history and natural beauty. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no advance reservations. Facilities are limited to vault toilets only; there is no potable water available, so campers must bring their own supply. Access to the campground requires travel on Forest Road 3530, and high-clearance vehicles are recommended due to road conditions. Single sites are $16 per night and double sites are $32 per night. Holders of Interagency Access or Senior passes receive a 50% discount on single sites. The campground is operated by Alaska Recreational Management under permit from the Forest Service.

Directions

From Sandy, OR, drive 32 miles east on US 26 and take the exit to OR 35. Drive 2 miles and turn right onto Forest Road 3531, then turn left onto Forest Road 3530 just past the Barlow Pass Sno-Park. Continue 5 miles to the campground on the left. High-clearance vehicles recommended.
