About
Foreman Creek Boat-in Campground sits on the north side of Lake Oroville within the Lake Oroville State Recreation Area. The 26 individual campsites are accessible only by boat and each site features a picnic table and fire ring with a cooking grill. The campground has two vault toilets and two pit toilets, 16 trash receptacles, potable water, and a gray water sump for disposal. Sites operate on a first-come, first-served basis and campers self-register at the on-site pay station. Check-in is available at the Spillway or Lime Saddle entrance stations. The campground is centrally located on the reservoir and relatively close to the Spillway area. During periods of low water, the campsites may be a significant distance from the shoreline. The area is most accessible when Lake Oroville's storage level reaches 850 feet or higher. Fire restrictions may be in effect seasonally; check current conditions before your trip.
