Flamingo Campground occupies a prime location at the extreme southern tip of Everglades National Park, approximately 38 miles from the Homestead main entrance. The campground provides 274 sites accommodating both tents and RVs up to 35 feet, with 159 sites available by reservation and 28 first-come, first-served. Select sites in the T loop offer electric hookups with 30A/20A/50A pedestals. Amenities include solar-heated showers, year-round flush toilets, two dump stations, potable water filling stations, picnic tables, and grills at each site. A camp store sells firewood and ice. An amphitheater hosts ranger programs during the winter season. The Guy Bradley Visitor Center provides information and trip planning assistance. The surrounding area offers exceptional outdoor recreation including several hiking trails, canoe trails, and plentiful saltwater fishing opportunities. Campers should be aware that portions of the campground close during the wet summer season, typically June through November, with full capacity returning by mid-January.

From Homestead, enter Everglades National Park through the main entrance on State Road 9336. Continue 38 miles south to the Flamingo area at the end of the road.
