About

Curry Hammock State Park Campground sits at mile marker 56 between Key Largo and Key West, offering one of the most sought-after camping experiences in the Florida Keys. The 28-site campground provides partial hookups with water and 20/30/50-amp electrical service on gravel pads that can accommodate RVs up to 70 feet. Each site comes equipped with a picnic table, charcoal grill, and hammock posts. The campground features a modern ADA-compliant bathhouse with hot showers and a dump station. Campers have direct access to a sandy beach on the Atlantic side, where a communal fire pit is available on the west end. Paddling is exceptional here, with kayak and paddleboard launching available directly from the campground. A 1.5-mile nature trail winds through undeveloped hammock habitat. Reservations are highly competitive and can be made up to 11 months in advance through Reserve America. The park is a popular destination year-round, and securing sites during peak season requires early planning.
