About
Pinecrest Group Campground is a primitive group camping area within Big Cypress National Preserve, situated in a clearing along the historic Loop Road. The campground offers four group sites, each capable of hosting up to 15 people with a maximum of 8 tents per site. Surrounded by pine and oak trees, the setting provides a quiet and natural south Florida camping experience. This is a true primitive camping experience with no water, toilets, or other facilities on site. Each campsite includes a fire ring and picnic table.
