About

Fish Lake Campground is a remote, high-elevation primitive campground in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. Located at 3,350 feet elevation, this no-fee campground offers 5 walk-in tent-only sites situated near a small mountain lake and the scenic Cle Elum River. The campground is accessed via Forest Service Road 4330, approximately 11 miles from Highway 903. This is a true backcountry experience with no amenities beyond a vault toilet. There is no potable water, no trash service, and no camp host. Visitors must be completely self-sufficient, bringing all necessary water and packing out all trash. The walk-in nature of the sites ensures a quiet, secluded camping experience surrounded by the natural beauty of the national forest. Recreation opportunities include fishing in the lake and river, picnicking, and exploring the surrounding forest. The campground's remote location and lack of services make it ideal for experienced campers seeking solitude and a primitive camping experience in the Cascade Mountains.
