About
Finches Ferry is a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers day-use park situated on the Black Warrior River near the city of Eutaw in Greene County, Alabama. The facility provides public access to the river through a single-lane boat ramp, making it a popular spot for fishing, boating, and water recreation. The park amenities include a group picnic shelter available for rental at $25 per day, which can accommodate family gatherings and events. The shelter rental does not guarantee park entry or special treatment, and users are encouraged to arrive early. Waterborne restrooms are available on-site. The park enforces quiet use policies, prohibiting excessive noise, water slides, and water balloons. Finches Ferry operates as a day-use facility and does not offer overnight camping. The park closes at 10:00 p.m. daily, and visitors are expected to clean up their areas and dispose of trash properly before leaving. All vehicles must be parked in designated areas. The facility is managed by the Black Warrior and Tombigbee Lakes project office in Demopolis.
