About

Finches Ferry is a day-use recreation area operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers as part of the Black Warrior and Tombigbee Lakes system. Located on the Black Warrior River near Eutaw in Greene County, Alabama, the facility provides public access to the river for fishing, boating, and water recreation. The site features a single-lane boat ramp, a group picnic shelter available for rent at $25 per day, parking areas, trash receptacles, and portable restrooms. The park closes at 10:00 p.m. and all visitors must vacate by closing time. The shelter must be left clean; no refunds are issued for weather. This is strictly a day-use facility with no overnight camping, RV sites, or tent camping available. Visitors seeking overnight accommodations should look at other USACE campgrounds in the Black Warrior and Tombigbee Lakes system.
