About

Belmont Park is a primitive campground managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers along the Tombigbee River in west-central Alabama. The facility offers rustic camping with basic amenities including restroom facilities and a group shelter with electrical outlets available for reservation. A boat ramp provides direct water access for anglers and boaters. The campground serves as an ideal base for outdoor enthusiasts seeking hunting and fishing opportunities. It provides quick access to properties on the David K. Nelson Wildlife Management Area as well as other Corps-managed lands. The surrounding Tombigbee River corridor offers some of the best public hunting and fishing in the region.
