About

Fillmore Glen State Park is a Finger Lakes gem located adjacent to Moravia in Cayuga County. The park encompasses a long, narrow gorge crowded with cool, dense woods and offers spectacular views of unique geological formations. The main attraction is the Gorge Trail, which passes five waterfalls and showcases the botanically rich glen. The park is named for Millard Fillmore, the 13th President of the United States, and features a replica of the log cabin where he was born. The campground offers 60 sites spread across four loops (A, B, C, D), primarily back-in sites suitable for tents and smaller RVs up to 20-30 feet. Amenities include hot showers in a bath house, restrooms, a dump station, and each site has a picnic table and fire ring. Recreation options include a stream-fed swimming pool with beach, fishing, hiking, playground, and sports fields. Winter activities include cross-country skiing and snowmobiling on designated trails. Cabins accommodating up to four people are also available, featuring bunk beds, electricity, a table and chairs, plus outdoor grill and fire ring. Reservations can be made through ReserveAmerica up to 9 months in advance, with a 2-night minimum for standard bookings.
