Robert H Treman State Park is an area of wild beauty in the Finger Lakes region, centered around the rugged gorge called Enfield Glen. The park features 72 campsites suitable for tents and RVs, with 11 sites offering 30-amp or 50-amp electric hookups. All campsites include picnic tables and fire rings. The campground also offers rustic cabins available for weekly rentals. Winding trails follow the gorge past 12 waterfalls, including the spectacular 115-foot Lucifer Falls, offering views down a mile-and-a-half of wooded gorge. The park provides nine miles of hiking trails ranging from easy to moderately difficult terrain. The park features a unique stream-fed swimming pool located beneath a waterfall, open daily from late June through Labor Day weekend with lifeguard supervision. Three pavilions are available for group rentals accommodating 34 to 197 people. The campground provides modern amenities including shower facilities. The park operates on a reservation system through ReserveAmerica, with same-day reservations accepted until 3 p.m. and walk-ins permitted for campsites. Bow hunting for deer is allowed in designated park sections during season.
Directions
From Ithaca, take Route 13 south for 2.6 miles, then turn right onto Route 327 North. The entrance to the lower park, providing access to camping, swimming area, and lower falls, is on the left.
