About

Situated on a V-shaped spit of land extending into Cayuga Lake, Long Point State Park provides a unique lakeside retreat in the heart of New York's Finger Lakes wine region. The park's sole accommodation is a full-service cottage sleeping four guests, featuring a bedroom with double bed, living room with sleeper sofa, full bathroom, kitchen with gas stove and refrigerator, wood stove, and air conditioning. Outside, guests enjoy a private boat dock, fire ring, grill, and picnic table on a small lawn. The park itself offers a 4-lane boat launch popular with anglers and boaters, a swimming beach with seasonal lifeguards, a modern playground, and 4.5 miles of hiking trails. Located just south of the village of Aurora and near numerous Finger Lakes wineries, the park is known for its spectacular sunset views across Cayuga Lake. Cross-country skiing and snowshoeing are permitted on trails during winter months.
