About
Fiddlers Lake Campground is a peaceful mountain retreat situated on the shores of Fiddlers Lake at 9,400 feet elevation in Wyoming's Shoshone National Forest. The campground features 20 first-come, first-served campsites nestled along the lake shore, surrounded by mature forest with views of the scenic mountain lake. The location provides direct access to the Popo Agie Wilderness, with the nearby Christina Lake Trailhead offering additional hiking opportunities and horse corrals for equestrian visitors. Campsites are equipped with picnic tables and fire grates, and the campground includes five vault toilets, potable water from a hand pump, and bear boxes for required food storage. The setting offers excellent opportunities for non-motorized boating, fishing, wildlife viewing, and day hiking or backpacking into the wilderness. RVs and trailers up to 40 feet can be accommodated in the campground's pull-through and back-in sites. At this high elevation, the campground operates seasonally from approximately July through September, with exact dates weather dependent.
