About

Fenton Lake Campground is one of 11 self-service campgrounds within Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area, situated along Kentucky Lake in Trigg County, Kentucky. The campground provides a more primitive camping experience compared to developed campgrounds in the area while still offering essential amenities including 30-amp electric hookups at each site. Each designated campsite includes a prepared pad, picnic table, grill, and fire ring. The facility has vault toilets, drinking water from faucets, trash pickup service, and a boat ramp providing direct access to Kentucky Lake. The self-service payment system requires campers to fill out a fee envelope and deposit it in the iron ranger fee tube within 30 minutes of arrival. Fenton is one of the original recreation areas established at Land Between the Lakes and provides convenient lake access for fishing and boating. Quiet hours are 11pm to 6am, checkout is at 3:30pm, and maximum consecutive stay is 21 days.
