About

Jones Creek Campground offers a primitive camping experience in the scenic Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area along Kentucky Lake. This basic facility caters to self-sufficient campers seeking a quiet, undeveloped lakefront setting. The campground provides designated campsites with picnic tables and fire rings, along with convenient boat ramp access for anglers and boaters. As a basic camping area, Jones Creek has no water supply, no restrooms, and no utilities of any kind. Campers must bring their own water and be prepared for a true backcountry experience despite the drive-in accessibility. The campground operates on a self-service basis with an iron ranger fee collection system. Located along Woodlands Scenic Trace (Forest Service Road 100), the campground offers easy access while maintaining a rustic character. The surrounding Land Between the Lakes area provides opportunities for fishing, boating, wildlife viewing, and exploring the extensive trail system throughout this 170,000-acre national recreation area.
