About

Jones Creek Campground provides a quiet, primitive camping experience along Kentucky Lake in the Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area. Located in Trigg County, Kentucky, the campground offers designated campsites with basic amenities including picnic tables and fire rings, making it suitable for tent campers and small RVs seeking a rustic lakefront setting. The campground features a boat ramp providing direct access to Kentucky Lake, making it popular with anglers and boaters. This is a self-service area operating on a first-come, first-served basis with no advance reservations. Payment is made via iron ranger fee collection, and campers should bring cash or check. This is a truly primitive camping area with no potable water, no restrooms, and no utility hookups. Campers must bring all necessary water supplies and be prepared for a backcountry-style experience despite the drive-in accessibility.
