About
Fall Creek Campground sits on a 10-acre site along the main body of Lake Cumberland in Wayne County, Kentucky. Operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, this intimate campground features just 10 waterfront campsites, all shaded by dense stands of mature hardwoods. Each site provides electric hookups, making it suitable for RVs and trailers seeking lakeside access. Lake Cumberland is one of the largest man-made lakes east of the Mississippi River, with a vast surface area and over 1,200 miles of shoreline. The lake supports abundant populations of largemouth, smallmouth, white and Kentucky bass, bluegill, crappie, rockfish, and walleye, making it a premier fishing destination. A boat ramp within the campground provides direct access to the water for anglers and boaters. Amenities include flush toilets, showers, drinking water, a dump station, playground, day-use area, and a group picnic shelter. The temperate climate and relatively long recreation season allow for varied outdoor activities throughout much of the year. The Mill Springs Mill Park, a historic mill site offering interpretive tours and picnic facilities, is located just 15 minutes away.
