About

Fishing Creek Campground sits above the shore of Fishing Creek on Lake Cumberland, surrounded by dense stands of mature hardwoods that provide shade and scenic views. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers operates this well-developed campground featuring 46 sites: 26 standard electric sites for RVs and 20 tent-only electric sites. Every site includes water and electric hookups (50 amp), a picnic table, fire pit with grill, and lantern post. Amenities include flush toilets, hot showers, drinking water, a washer/dryer facility, and an RV dump station. A boat ramp provides direct access to Lake Cumberland, known for excellent fishing including largemouth, smallmouth, white, and Kentucky bass, plus bluegill, crappie, rockfish, and walleye. Lee's Ford Resort Marina is less than 10 minutes away, offering boat rentals, a general store, restaurant, and lodging. The Mill Springs Battlefield Park, a historic Civil War site with interpretive exhibits, is a 15-minute drive.
