About

Eisenhower State Park occupies 457 acres on Lake Texoma's southern shore near Denison, Texas. The park is known for its unique geology featuring exposed limestone bluffs and fossils from the Cretaceous period. Five distinct camping areas spread across the park provide options for every style of camper, from tent camping on shaded hillsides to full hookup sites for large RVs. The park offers excellent lake access with a boat ramp, courtesy dock, and the Eisenhower Yacht Club marina where visitors can rent kayaks, canoes, and boat slips. Two fishing piers extend into the lake, with one offering lights for night fishing. No fishing license is required for shore fishing within the park. A park store sells supplies and souvenirs. Recreational opportunities include hiking, mountain biking, and swimming at a designated beach area. The park frequently reaches capacity during spring, summer, and fall weekends, making advance reservations highly recommended.
