About

Egin Lakes Campground sits 8 miles west of St. Anthony, Idaho, providing direct access to the St. Anthony Sand Dunes, a 10,600-acre expanse of shifting white quartz sand that stretches approximately 20 miles long and 5 miles wide. The dunes range from 50 to 400 feet high and include Deadhorse Bowl, a popular OHV sand bowl one mile in circumference and 400 feet deep. The campground offers 48 developed sites, each equipped with electric pedestals (50amp, 30amp, and 120v options), a shelter, picnic table, and fire ring. Potable water is available from hydrants throughout the campground, and an RV dump station is on site. Facilities include six double vault restrooms, The Pit Stop Store for supplies and snacks, day use picnic areas with shelters, and designated horse trailer parking. The maximum combined vehicle and camper length is 72 feet. The surrounding area supports diverse wildlife including sage-grouse, elk, mule deer, and moose, plus rare species like the Saint Anthony evening primrose. The campground is within a couple hours' drive of Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks.
