Harriman State Park
Harriman State Park does not have traditional tent or RV campsites. Overnight accommodations consist of yurts and historic building rentals only. Yurts (Cygnet, Wyethia, Ermine) are available year-round. The Becker Backcountry Yurt is available May 1 through November 30. Reservations through Idaho State Parks at 1-888-922-6743 or online. Motor vehicle entrance fee is $7.

Harriman State Park is a 16,000-acre preserve in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, situated at 6,210 feet elevation near Island Park, Idaho. The park does not offer traditional tent or RV camping. Instead, overnight visitors stay in canvas-walled yurts near Silver Lake or rent historic ranch buildings from the former Railroad Ranch, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The yurts (Cygnet, Wyethia, and Ermine) are available year-round and sleep up to six people. Each features a wood-burning stove, bunk beds, propane cooking stove and lantern, and a raised porch. Vault toilets and drinking water are nearby. The Becker Backcountry Yurt is available May 1 through November 30 and operates on a pack-it-in, pack-it-out basis with no campfires permitted. The Henry's Fork of the Snake River is renowned for world-class fly fishing. The park serves as a wildlife refuge, and certain trails close seasonally for waterfowl nesting (April 15-June 15) and elk calving (April 15-July 1). Because the ranch is on the National Historic Register and the park functions as a refuge, pets are prohibited on trails and in all buildings and yurts.
