About
Eastwood Campground is located on the Medford-Park Falls District of the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, nestled along the 411-acre Mondeaux Flowage in northern Wisconsin. The campground offers 12 spacious, shaded campsites suitable for both tent and RV camping, with most sites exceeding 35 feet in length. Each site is equipped with a picnic table and fire ring with grill. The flowage is popular for fishing, with catches including walleye, northern pike, musky, bluegill, and crappie. A boat ramp is available nearby, and the lake accommodates both motorized and non-motorized watercraft. The Ice Age National Scenic Trail traverses the campground, and the 1.5-mile Aldo Leopold Nature Trail is accessible via Forest Road 106. Facilities include two vault toilets with accessible features, potable drinking water, and garbage/recycling dumpsters. The campground operates on a mix of first-come, first-served and reservable sites through Recreation.gov. Quiet hours are 10 PM to 6 AM. Firewood must originate within 25 miles or be Wisconsin-certified heat-treated wood.
