About
Kincaid Lake State Park encompasses 850 acres of rolling Kentucky woodland surrounding a scenic 183-acre lake in Pendleton County. The campground features 159 sites in a wooded setting, with 84 standard electric sites offering water and electric hookups (15, 20, 30, and 50-amp service available) and 75 primitive tent sites. Sites are equipped with picnic tables and fire rings, and pull-through sites are available for easier RV access. The campground provides modern amenities including a central bathhouse with flush toilets and hot showers, laundry facilities, and an RV dump station. The camp store stocks firewood (required for out-of-state visitors who cannot bring their own), ice, bait and tackle, and basic supplies. Recreation options abound: the lake allows boats up to 10hp and yields largemouth bass, crappie, channel catfish, and bluegill. Rental boats include paddle boats, canoes, and jon boats. Beyond fishing, the park offers a junior Olympic swimming pool, a 9-hole golf course, mini-golf, tennis courts, volleyball, horseshoe pits, playgrounds, and hiking trails of moderate difficulty. Golf cart permits are available for navigating the campground. The park operates seasonally from mid-March through mid-November, with peak season rates from late May through October.
