About

Eagleview Park is located at the southernmost portion of West Point Lake, offering exceptional views of the West Point Dam and the surrounding reservoir. Managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, this day-use facility is a popular destination for fishing, picnicking, and outdoor recreation along the Chattahoochee River. The park features a group shelter available for reservation through Recreation.gov, equipped with water, electricity, restrooms, and a playground. The shelter is ideal for larger gatherings and special events, though certain activities such as weddings or fishing tournaments may require a Special Event Permit from the West Point Project Management office. The park also provides easy trail access for mountain bikers and hikers exploring the area. Eagleview Park is conveniently located four miles north of West Point, Georgia on US Highway 29 North. Visitors should note that this is primarily a day-use facility and does not offer overnight camping. Pets are allowed but must be kept on a leash under six feet in length.
