Eagleview Group Campground
Open for the 2026 season through mid-October. Operates as a group-only reservation facility via Recreation.gov. Firewood is currently unavailable for purchase on site.
About
Eagleview Group Campground sits in a broad river canyon along the Umpqua River, surrounded by forested mountainsides between the Pacific Coast and Roseburg, Oregon. This BLM group facility is designed exclusively for group reservations, accommodating up to 100 campers across 10 individual sites plus a covered pavilion. The campground caters to anglers targeting chinook salmon, coho, steelhead, and smallmouth bass depending on the season. Water enthusiasts can float the river by kayak or canoe or swim in the Umpqua on hot summer days. On-site recreation includes horseshoe pits, a small frisbee golf course, and a grassy field suitable for bocce ball and croquet. The pavilion provides four 110-volt electrical outlets and can seat 50 people, while the large communal fire pit serves as a gathering spot for groups. Several sites offer full shade while others have partial shade. The facility requires a $145 reservation fee plus a $200 refundable deposit.
