About

Dolly Varden Campground is the first camp along the Fall Creek drainage on Forest Service Road 18, providing convenient access to the 13.7-mile Fall Creek National Recreation Trail. The campground offers five tent-only sites in a forested setting along the creek. Three sites sit along the creek on the north side of Forest Road 18, while two walk-in sites are located across the road. This primitive campground has one vault toilet but no potable water, so campers must bring their own water supply. Picnic tables are provided. The campground is partially reservable through Recreation.gov, with some sites available on a first-come, first-served basis. No RVs or trailers are permitted. Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., and camping is limited to 14 days within any 60-day period. Check-in is at 2:00 p.m. and check-out is at 12:00 p.m. The use of chainsaws is prohibited in the campground.
