About

Cascara Campground is the largest camping area at Fall Creek State Recreation Area, situated on the banks of Fall Creek Reservoir in Lane County. The campground offers 39 primitive lakeside sites nestled among towering Douglas fir trees, with many sites providing views of the water. Each site includes a fire ring and picnic table, with a maximum site length of 91 feet. The campground features four vault toilets but no potable water on-site; drinking water is available at nearby Winberry Day-use Area. A boat ramp and fishing dock provide direct lake access, and a swimming area with platform makes this a popular summer destination. An amphitheater hosts evening programs during the operating season. Cascara operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no advance reservations. The campground is open from May 1 through September 30 each year. Quiet hours are enforced from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.
