Alcohol Prohibitions
This Order describes acts that are prohibited upon lands, roads and trails within the National Forest System administered by the Forest Service Pacific Northwest Region in regards to alcoholic beverages.
Aquatic Invasive Species
This Order prohibits 1) possessing, storing, or transporting any aquatic invasive animal species AND 2) prohibits possessing, storing, or transporting any aquatic or riparian invasive plant species - on National Forest System lands in the Pacific Northwest Region as specified in the Order.
Restrictions on Use of Forage and Mulch Products

About
Diamond Lake Campground sits at 5,183 feet elevation on the east shore of Diamond Lake in Oregon's Umpqua National Forest. The campground offers 238 sites total, including 51 premium lakeshore sites and 187 inshore sites nestled among towering conifers. Mount Bailey and Mount Thielsen provide a dramatic volcanic backdrop. All sites feature picnic tables, fire rings with grills, and access to flush toilets and potable water. The lake is a major recreational draw, stocked annually with 300,000 rainbow trout fingerlings. Visitors can fish from shore or boat, swim in the cold mountain waters, or paddle by canoe and kayak. The 11-mile paved Dellenback Trail circles the lake for hiking and biking. Nearby Crater Lake National Park and the Pacific Crest Trail offer additional exploration opportunities. A nearby resort provides boat, bicycle, and horse rentals along with lodging, restaurants, a grocery store, laundry facilities, and fuel. The campground operates on a reservation-only basis through Recreation.gov during summer season, with a 14-day maximum stay.
Directions
From Roseburg, OR, drive 80 miles east on Highway 138. Turn right onto Forest Road 4795 (Diamond Lake Loop) at the north entrance to Diamond Lake Recreation Area. Proceed 2.5 miles to the campground entrance on the right. From Klamath Falls or Bend, follow US-97 to OR-138, then drive west approximately 22.5 miles to Forest Road 4795. From Medford, follow OR-62 and OR-230 to OR-138, turn left and drive north approximately 4 miles to Forest Road 4795.
