Located at Dead Horse Ranch State Park in Cottonwood, Arizona, these eight one-room log cabins offer a comfortable glamping experience in the Verde Valley. The cabin circle is secluded in a mesquite bosque near the Verde River, providing an ideal getaway for weekend trips or extended stays. Each cabin is variably furnished with a full-size bed, bunk bed, table and chairs, dresser-drawer, ceiling fan with overhead light, and electricity with air conditioning. Guests must bring their own linens or sleeping bags. Each cabin includes an outdoor barbecue grill and individual fire ring. Clean, accessible family-style shower facilities are a short walk from the cabins, and there is a shared electrified ramada with barbecues available for cabin guests. The cabins accommodate a maximum of six people with a maximum of four adults. Pets are allowed in cabins 3 through 8 for an additional fee. Tents may be pitched within 10 feet of the cabin for an extra charge. Dead Horse Ranch State Park sits in the heart of Arizona's Verde Valley, offering access to fishing lagoons, hiking trails including the Lime Kiln Trail and Verde River Greenway, birdwatching, and connections to Coconino National Forest trails. From Interstate 17, take Exit 287 (Highway 260) toward Cottonwood. Continue approximately 11 miles to Main Street (Highway 89A) in Cottonwood and turn left. Follow signs to Dead Horse Ranch State Park.
