About

Dayboard 9 Campground is a secluded boat-access-only destination within Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area, positioned approximately 9 miles south of Ok-A-Beh Marina or 27 miles north of Barry's Landing by water. This primitive campground offers 5 gravel campsites, each equipped with a picnic table, bear box for food storage, and fire ring. Seasonal amenities include a floating courtesy dock and floating composting restrooms, which are installed from the third week of May through the end of September. A large grassy landing area accommodates non-motorized watercraft. Firewood is typically plentiful early in the season but may be limited later. Note that collecting firewood within the park is prohibited. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservations and no fees. Quiet hours are enforced from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM (boat idling prohibited), and generators may run from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Maximum stay is 14 consecutive nights within a 28-day period. Pets must be leashed at all times and cannot be left unattended.
