Summer daytime temperatures range from the 60s to 90s, with nighttime lows in the 50s. Thunderstorms and snowstorms can occur at any time. The campground has 15 sites, including 13 standard nonelectric sites and 2 tent-only sites. Each site features a picnic table and fire ring with grill. Jaws Trailhead is near the campground, offering access to Bucking Mule Falls Trail and Porcupine Creek. The Medicine Wheel National Historic Landmark, an ancient Native American geoglyph, is just four miles away.
