Located in the remote south district of Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area, Barry's Landing & Trail Creek Campground provides a rustic camping experience near Barry's Landing boat ramp. The campground features 30 total sites, including 14 RV sites and 16 tent sites, all available first-come, first-served except for one group site that requires advance reservation. Sites are equipped with picnic tables and fire rings, with bear-proof food storage lockers available. The campground is situated along gravel paths in a scenic setting enhanced by nearby Trail Creek. This campground is designed for self-sufficient campers who must bring their own water and be prepared for primitive conditions. Vault toilets are available year-round, but there is no running water, electricity, or showers. Most RV sites can accommodate rigs up to 28 feet, though there are no pull-through sites or utility hookups. The location provides access to boating, fishing, and hiking opportunities within Bighorn Canyon.

Directions

From Highway 14A, turn north on Highway 37 and continue approximately 22 miles. Just inside the NPS welcome sign, follow the brown and white directional sign. Continue on Highway 37 for approximately 22 miles to where the sign indicates to turn right to Barry's Landing.
