Five Springs Falls Campground

Open

The campground operates seasonally and is typically open from late spring through fall, weather permitting. The steep, narrow access road may close earlier due to snow. First-come, first-served only with no reservations accepted.

About

Five Springs Falls Campground sits at 6,520 feet elevation in the high desert foothills east of Lovell, Wyoming. The campground is divided into two loops with 19 total sites. The lower loop contains 9 sites with tent pads, fire rings, picnic tables, and a central vault toilet facility. These sites are designed for tent camping only, with the exception of the host site which can accommodate a small trailer. A water faucet near the host site serves all campers. The upper loop offers 10 additional sites with fire rings and tent pads, including several pull-through sites suitable for camp trailers. This loop also has its own central vault toilet and benches overlooking the surrounding mountain ranges. From the upper loop, trails connect to the Bighorn National Forest. The campground's main attraction is the short hike to the Five Springs Falls overlook, with benches along the trail. Wildlife in the area includes deer, elk, moose, black bear, and mountain lion. The access road is steep and narrow, making it unsuitable for RVs over 25 feet in length.
